Post Something Interesting

Emotional day for Australia & NZ today as it's ANZAC day, thousands turn out across the country pre dawn to remember all that never returned from wars in a dawn service..

Interestingly there is a betting game called 2 Up that is illegal in pubs but it is allowed on this day every year. The servicemen played it quite a lot whilst in the trenches.
This one is for the Anzacs.

Went to see Alice Cooper & Blondie last week in the park across road. Debbie has lost her voice big time. Tribute
would've been better.
Must admit it was funny though seeing a load of 60 odd year olds and older singing "Schools out for summer" etc at the end.

alice cooper used to live across the road from my grandparents.
she was fairly elderly and very nice.

Blondie the other night, her voice is a bit shit and she looks even worse , seen better karaoke singers :)

Debbie Harry (Blondie) is 78.

Blondie's 1978 hit, "Heart of Glass," was recently selected as, one "of the defining sounds of history and culture" and will join the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress.

At 78, Blondie may not sound as good or look as good as she used to... but she deserves praise for her career and talent.

Congratulations Blondie - your place in the National Recording Registry is well-earned!
