An episode of Ancient Aliens had a theory, based on evidence, that some dinosaurs lived after they had supposedly all been killed. Fossil of a dinosaur footprint alongside a human one, with it being dated to the same time - the era of the Myans. Also, on some Myan monoliths have dinosaurs carved into the stone. How the fuck would they have known what a dinosaur looks like if they had all died millions of years before?

Perhaps they found a set of bones, reconstructed them, covered them in clay soaked in water from a silted lake, then used natural dyes to paint them with a bullrush paintbrush
A passer by then used charcoal to draw an image on a slate, took it back to his cave, then after beating his woman to a pulp, copied the image onto his cavewall.
Incredible times.

I like Ancient Aliens' theory, all bar the actual theory aliens brought a dinosaur back from the past for the Myans to look at. Spoiled it for me, that.

I remain very open minded about anything I don't know. I just hope that aliens are not a bunch of arrogant , self destructive, short sighted sorts, like human kind turned out to be.
