You beat me to it MistyAnd I presume he will get a free knife.
Two years of this?...should make a man of him...Neighbours of ours are Swiss and their son has been called up for national service.
I wasn't aware but it's still a thing in Switzerland for young men.
I feel a bit sorry for him as he's been through school here in Australia and it's a huge thing for the lad.
He looked a bit apprehensive about it when I asked him about it.
Off he goes for 2 years.
You’re welcome.FFS! That’s going to annoy me all f@cking weekend
Thanks
Is it something the UK should adopt again? Two years of this?...should make a man of him...
Under NO circumstances. Is it something the UK should adopt again?
My eldest brother did it.
They may come out as mature adults ( well some of them!)Under NO circumstances.
some of these twats will just come out faster, fitter and with an extensive knowledge of weaponry.
Simply to adhere to pronunciation rules when the word is shortened. Otherwise you'd have frig or frige which wouldn't be pronounced as fridge.FFS! That’s going to annoy me all f@cking weekend

Why isn’t refrigerator pronounced refriggerator rather than refridgerator.Simply to adhere to pronunciation rules when the word is shortened. Otherwise you'd have frig or frige which wouldn't be pronounced as fridge.
As always, as always. You beat me to it Misty
I never knew that cats under their fur, their skin has the same coloured patterns. Got my 5mnth old kitten neutered and where they shaved you can see the skin colour. I wonder if tigers would have black stripes if you were brave enough to shave one?

They do indeed.
I think this is true for most hairy mammals with black patterns.
Example.
Dalmatian skinny pig.If it didn't have the hairless gene it would look like the regular guinea pig below.

The same pigment pattern is also linked to nose and toenail colours.A black nosed dog usually has darker skin. But it can be complicated depending on breeds as some will have genes that mask the colour.
Not having that. Over 3,000 years old yet the screen wasnt cracked and it still held its charge. Yeh right.Pythagoras was a plagiarist.
Pythagoras is credited for creating the famous Pythagoras theory, but a recent discovery suggests the math concept was formed more than 1,000 years before the ancient Greek's birth. The evidence was translated from a clay tablet labeled YBC 7289, formed between 1800 and 1600 BC, which uses principles of the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the length of a diagonal inside a rectangle.
