A collector of beermats is known (besides other words) as a Tegesologist with teges being the Latin name for a "small rug" but translated by the British Brewery Beer Mat Society to a "small mat".
I should know as about 30 years ago I won the Collector of the Year Award and presented with a Gold Beer Mat from Charles Wells Brewery from Amos Brierly (yes of Emmerdale Farm) who was our Honourable Life President and our former Presidents were actually Morecambe and Wise way back in the 1960s.
Yes, I know more worthless info but it deserved a mention as we raised thousands of pounds over the years for different Charities.

My mates dog went for a swim, trotting down the lane afterwards let out the loudest, longest, wettest fart I’ve ever heard a mutt pass cue our disgust and laughter. Poor fucker just stood still, turned his head back to look at us as if to say “please don’t laugh”. Sheer look of embarrassment on that dogs face.
