Having the home leg on the 19th also means we break up a run of 4 away games which should be a benefit aswell.

I would rather Ferdinand be back tbh mate.
He wont play the "big guns" and if they do Fergie will be going behind his word and we have therefore have an excuse to make up abusive songs and rip the piss for the rest of his career.
Its definitely a bonus for us.

Agree it suits us. More key players back from injury (SWP/Robinho/Ned/Ireland/ De Jong/Bridge) and gives Mancini longer to get his ideas across to the team. We have some winable games before the rearranged matches, so should go in confident and may even have some crucial transfer additions by then.
At least any potential "backlash" is diminished as the wound of the Leeds debacle will not be as raw, and Fergie may consider giving the kids another chance?
Even if Vidic and Plug from the Beano are back, would they be risked before the Arsenal game? May be better if they were, as Vidic obviously wants off and Plug will not be match fit, which means Bellamy will skin him with even more ease !!!

As long as they are registered in time, and haven't played in previous rounds they should be ok !
