Postmonment benefits us

Agreed.

1.Fergies hairdryer backlash now won't happen against us. Fergie, his under performing players and the Rags must be gutted about that. It was all set up for them and the press. They'll have to take it out on there next to PL opponents.

2.Vidic may be fit for the first leg, but Ferdinand won't.(2ng leg?) And who's to say Fergie will now pick his strongest team. His attitude might have softened over the coming week's and he may decide to play a few of the players that let him down against Leeds once again. He's also got the CL to fit in as well.

3.As for us it's win, win win. SWP, Ireland, RSC, Micah and Robbie will all now be fit for the home leg. Ade and Toure will also be available for the return leg and so might our other walking wounded. Add to that a couple of signings, left back and centre half, with a few weeks on the training ground and we're laughing.

COMS will be old out and our 9000 allocation for Stretford will also be snapped up.

Fergie must be melting the snow with his hairdryer as we speak. :-)

allows us to get our back 4 fit/bring a defender in...even if Toure will still be out.
We've got 9-10 injuries at the moment. More than Utd at any rate so this benefits us more than them

I was worried it might have to be played next week - that would have been very difficult

This works for us, they get players back so do we. We are stronger, regardless of who they get returning.

We need another week, they will still be struggling.

Ever way, first choice against first choice, 2-0 first leg.

Fergie coronary 2nd leg
