Potential City v Rags Final question?

The two biggest, most important City v United matches in history were, with due respect to the 1926 (?) semi, the 2011 semi final and the 2012 virtual title decider

We were markedly superior in both games

What's to fear ?

They could but the chances are surely small. They'll be rested thanks to the delay in playing the game.

If they play Chelsea in the quarters I'd back Chelsea to beat them given that the FA Cup Q/F follows the return leg for Utd v Real Madrid

Hope we just avoid playing them but I have a feeling fate with pair us together.
Bring it on mate, I can't think of a better final. We're capable of beating them, they're capable of beating us - it would be a classic.

Fuck that for a game. I wouldn't want my day out being marred by running battles around North London. Anyone but them.

Preston 1888 didn't concede a goal. Only team that had to play a set of games (in early finals the previous seasons winners got a bye to the final).

In 1887 Preston were beaten by Hibernian in a match billed as the Association Football Championship of the World decider. Hibs were Scottish Cup winners. I am not sure how Preston qualified as their dominance was in the future.
