Preston 1888 didn't concede a goal. Only team that had to play a set of games (in early finals the previous seasons winners got a bye to the final).

All that sounds quite anal but have just been talking about it and looking it up with my lad.

Bury did it last in 1903, closest after that was ourselves in 1969 where we conceded 1 goal to Blackburn in the 4th round on our way to winning it.

When I say lad...we were talking in thr pub.

Nah, Bury won 6-0 against Derby, I think it's still the record score in an FA Cup Final.

Yup. Bury won that final. That's the highest scoring final ever.
