I’m talking about the one voted for by the players, which is the one already voted on, so the ‘quad’ therefore matters not a bit. That being said, it would be quite funny to have won 3/4 of the avaiable trophies with a Liverpool player then winning POTY.

Carragher has just admitted that as Liverpool's PFA representative he instructed the players not to vote for lampard or Henry when they were up against Gerrard in the voting. FFS trying to rigg the vote. It reminds me how Irish people complain that they can't vote for an Irish singer or act on these talent shows. It should be voted on who is genuinely the best not what tribe or cult you belong to

Also, his contributions to the current racism debate has thrust Raheem into the national and international spotlight. They have been very positively received everywhere.
 
The ironic thing is, if Sterling wins the Player and/or Journo gongs it will be funny, because he isn't the CIty POTY! No offence to Raheem, he's been great, but the City honour SHOULD go to Bernardo who has been absolutely sensational this season.

van Dijk of course - in case you aren't aware he INVENTED the role of centre back this season. In all previous seasons players like Vinnie, Bobby Moore, Jack Charlton etc just wandered about tackling anything that came near them. VvD is quite simply THE centre back and of course has been overdue the award since match day one this season.
 
Why is Laporte not even in the discussion ? Been the best defender for City and only 2 cleansheets less than VVD.
