The ironic thing is, if Sterling wins the Player and/or Journo gongs it will be funny, because he isn't the CIty POTY! No offence to Raheem, he's been great, but the City honour SHOULD go to Bernardo who has been absolutely sensational this season.

Vinny won the league award in 2011/12 and iirc wasn't in the top 2 for the club award, Aguero won it and I think Silva was second.

If this is the one voted for by players, then I think they've already voted, which despite last night's performance probably rules Hazard out. It's between Van Dijk and Sterling for sure just depends exactly when they voted. If they voted a month ago then I'd expect Van Dijk to win but if they've voted within the last 2 weeks then Raheem has a good chance with all the positive stories on and off the pitch about him. It's still ridiculous of course that you have season awards before the season actually finishes!!!!

I think Van Dijk deserves it, if he gets it. I have to admit, the impact he has had on Liverpool has been impressive to watch, even if they end up trophyless.

Hazard shouldn't get it, regardless of last night. He has been very good, by far our best player, and for the most part he is burdened with carrying the load offensively on his own and statistically he has more goals + assists than anyone in the league, but sadly that hasn't been enough to stop us loitering about outside the top 4.

Top 5 this season at best for me.

Van Dijk will get it, he's the one outstanding player in their team.

Whereas our votes will be split across Sterling, Bernardo and Aguero.

Hazard has statistically had a very good year but Chelsea have been naff and he hasn't really had a remarkable 'big game'. That said if they beat Liverpool next week and he scores the winner, I'll give him the trophy myself.
