Prague

been prague 7 times, got an old cockney wide boy mate out there who will give you a pub tour of the proper prague for the price of a beer in each one. He left England "coz ovah bitta bover" back in the early 80`s, been in prague ever since.

If you fancy it, pm me, its a good crack

There's stuff in prague besides strip clubs and that(non gay) sauna club? Ill need a trip back

Proposed in Prague back in August 2009. Scorching weather. Stayed at the Aria Hotel. Great hotel. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.ariahotel.net/default-en.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.ariahotel.net/default-en.html</a>

From another thread a while back I put:

Go up Petrin Tower: <a class="postlink" href="http://stovezata.praha.eu/en-petrin-tower.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://stovezata.praha.eu/en-petrin-tower.html</a>

Go to the Lennon Wall: <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennon_Wall" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennon_Wall</a>

Do a FREE walking tour, starts daily at 1045 outside the Starbucks: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.newpraguetours.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.newpraguetours.com/</a> Tip at the end if you like it.

I went 3 weeks ago, wear comfy footwear!!!!

Great city. Better than Barcelona in my opinion. It's not all drinkers either, and didnt see a single lady of the night when I was there!

AVOID THE CASTLE.. it's really not that great. Petrin has a better view and a bar halfway up the tram.

and

Radhost FX, Hard Rock Cafe or Cowboys were highlights eating over there. Local food wasn't my cuppa

I went in March 2010, it was snowing. Change money in banks if you need to do it, not the booths.

Didn't really get to see as much of the place as I would've liked tbh, but that was mainly due to my mate preferring to be on the piss for the whole four days so there wasn't much of a balance with sightseeing. Would've liked to have visited Sparta Prague's ground but think it was north of the river.

Wenceslas Sq was just full of dealers from what I can remember as we were staying not far from there so walked down it every day/night. There's some really nice architecture there as well, suppose it depends what you want to do really. We did find a very cheap place which was basically the basement of a restaurant, the bar had about 3 things on draught and a forlorn looking Czech woman manning it, think we ended up paying about 50p a pint in there. There's expensive places but I think if you do a bit of research into where the Czechs like to go and take some tips off here you'll be fine.

We befriended a bloke from Waterford as it happens and his Missus, they were good craic. I'd like to go back there and explore the place a bit more.

Prague is great. Anywhere about 200m away from the old square is half the price of the tourist spots.
Unless you like hurtling along at breakneck speed in a big Merc, narrowly missing buses and people, don't get in a taxi.

Went on my stag do there back in 2010. Can't really offer that much insight as I don't remember a great deal. I do know we went in June and it was absolutely boiling. The blokes trying to get you into the clubs are a pain and all the tourist bits are normal prices for beer but there are hundreds of little bars hidden in the backstreets that are miles cheaper.
