Pre-match drinks in town (Today)

For any blues in the northern quarter / Piccadilly. Give the hold fast bar a chance just off dale street. Very quirky.

Your starting early mate

Coming back into work! Just walking down from Ancoats to Morrisons in Picadilly to get my two boiled eggs. Nothing too exciting. I do it every European match day to see if the away fans are about. Not drinking until 6 ish.

Me too, well from Lever Street. Not much happening at the moment, but I'm sure it will get lively later.

Office in town,,,looking to finish and get out early....3pm p'raps. Take some tapas in't northern quarter.

Slightly off topic but don't know where else to put it. Coming up from London but can't leave until late due to kids' school but booked on the City train on the way back as only way of getting home tonight. City train tickets come with express lane or whatever its called for the tram. Do these actually make any difference or am I better off walking to/from the station like I usually do? Apologies for the entirely non-drink related query.

Weather dependent I think, I would use it going maybe it will be quicker to walk after the match.

After the match it gets you to the front of a very long queue however you could still have a wait for a tram to turn up but usually it's quicker than walking as long as you don't mind having your nose in the person next to yous armpit
