I trust in Manuel, whether he wants to keep the same first team or add some rotation. I can't believe the negative effect some on here think that will have. Any players we do bring in are competent enough to contribute to beating Watford and they will know they will have to be in top form to stand a chance of keeping their place. Some rotation is healthy and it's better to prevent injury and fitness problems rather than have to make reactive changes.

Aww bless, are you getting offended because we expect to beat you? You must be, because to be honest I haven't seen too many on this thread advocating anything other than the same personnel and approach as against Chelsea and Everton.

Anyway, enjoy the season and best of luck.

Ickle Watford :) x

The only way I can get his post to make sense is if he isn't a Watford fan (or maybe they're only his second team, probably the local one).

Cherry picks the only post that could be considered insulting, props it up with some others which can be twisted to fit, and then gets angry, petulant and behaves like a spoilt brat.

Remind you of any set of fans you may have come across before?

Either that or he's right and Watford are going to storm the league.

I think we need to show watord the respect they deserve. They look like a solid team and remain unbeaten so far. They will be right up for this game so I expect the starting 11 to remain focussed and play at a high tempo. This will be a good game to start Otamendi with the home crowd behind him. A home debut for Delph could be in order too. Keep playing with confidence and we should get the three points.

Also hoping that the atmosphere up in the new tier is still good and that Chelsea wasn't a one off.

Same 11 again please, changing any of it would be idiocy unless de Bruyne or someone like him comes in. Saturday 3 o clock kick off, looking like a sell out, great stuff. Get me back in 317!

Same team for me unless someone is not fully fit , no need to rotate a week before the internationals , as most of those that dont get 90 minutes (Delph , MdM , Nasri , Clichy ect ) will prob play for their respective countries

There's confidence and then there's insufferable swaggering arrogance.

most fans in the country would expect us to beat you. we've just beaten chelsea and everton why wouldn't we be confident. sick of hearing the old " you've forgotten where you've come from " shit that everyone says. No one has we are just confident.

btw base your entire opinion of city fans on a forum swell, doubt you've ever actually met an actual city fan ....

Its very much a game we could and should be winning. It was against teams of this nature at home that we seemed to fuck up against last season and arguably was the main contribution to why we lost the league last year. But naturally im extremely confident for this game so i'm going 2-0.

Silva and Aguero. Ps, as well structured out and informative as the OP is, is it actually necessary to include it every match thread? Not knocking The OP at all, he/she does a good job i'm just asking if its really necessary too type out all that info and stats etc like twice every week? Haha
