Re: Is 3-4-3 an option against Chelsea?

The problem with this line up is the three forwards would be slow to get back and the two ferns are currently playing at the standard of a championship player...a Blackpool one at that.

We just don't have the pressing energy level of Liverpool.

All of a sudden we're a bunch of mugs?

It was a very even game when we played Chelsea at home. Seem to remember City playing with plenty of intensity against Liverpool and Utd too

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

Chelsea have gone all the way to extra time tonight in a tough match. We have to make this count for us. A big reaction is needed after recent performances and results.

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

They've got 4 days to recover. More than enough.

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

Extra time shouldn't effect the players they have enough time to recover for Saturday...

Where in my post did I say we are a bunch of mugs?

Have you watched our last few games. United, Chelsea and Liverpool were months ago.

You can't deny that both Fernandinho and Fernando are playing well below the required standard at the moment and unless they raise their game a midfield two of them is not going to work.

Re: Pre Match Thread: Chelsea vs. Man City

A few things stood out tonight.Oscar and Willian are a pair of wingey-faced mard arses,Costa needs to be niggled at early doors and doesn't play with shin pads,so a few ankle nibbles would be good.Coutinho had that back four shitting water and Sergio is more than capable of doing the same. Feeling moderately confident now.
