Fernando and Fernandinho behind Yaya makes alot of sense....Less of a defensive role For Yaya...Would have nice to see Kompany and Otamendi pairing but guess Kompany rested...Come on City!!!!

Personally, i think that team is more than capable of taking Spurs apart. Otamendi and Demichelis aren't the fastest, but
have bags of experience and have extra cover today in Fernando. This also frees the reigns for Yaya.
What's not to like. We have injuries, but the squad we have these days enables us to have so many options.
I'm soooo looking forward to this.

Thrilled that Barker is on the Bench, gives the Eds lads genuine hope and looks like we are gradually giving them experience of the first team squad.
Just a bloody shame as one door opens for barker its shut with the injury to kelchi

Really interested how this team performs, i like that Yaya appears to be getting pushed forward and to be fair to Fernando he looked excellent against Sunderland.

Frightening that we have Hart, Zabba, Kompany, Mangala all missing from our best defensive 5 from last year, there is even an argument that Clichy over Alex as well. With Silva injured and Navas on the bench that is 7 of last years starting 11 for most games missing from today's starting 11.

Just shows how strong the squad is now, remember there are a lot of games in a short period of time now and rotation will be key to keeping the squad fresh.
