the only problem with that is, football is not played on paper. We lost to West Ham.

Yes, we lost to West Ham with a team that just about everyone in the World would have picked.

Our start to the season was fantastic, but even Rodgers would have noticed our pattern of play. Billic did, and set a team out to combat that. Showing we have more than plan A, especially a plan A totally reliant on Silva is a good thing in my eyes.

Have our fans not yet realised that rushing Kompany is a bad idea and proven so. What message does it send to Demichellis if he's instantly left out for Kompany even if he's not 100% fit? Not one of confidence. We are going to Spurs with a £30 million centre back, the best defender in Spain and our best defender for the last 18 months.
