Pre Match Thread | Sunderland v City

Feels like injuries are derailing the season to be honest. We started so strong but we're now chopping and changing each game, with key players consistently getting injured - that affects a team no matter how strong they are.

We are down to bare bones now, any injuries today on top of those already mentioned, will put us down to desperate times for some big matches coming up.

Just stop bloody moaning. All out on all fronts suits me. If this was a prem game what would the team be? Do we all think we're too good for this competition now...

It would be a different line up if we hadn't just lost 2 straight games, get the game in the bag before giving the young ones a run out, I understand his chance, I can see an argument for Roberts instead of Navas but he probably wants to try and kill the game off early.

thats just another excuse if we can't beat sunderland with a full team and roberts in it then we have major problems. Apart from games like this when will they be given a chance ?? wait till pre season next year before the same excuses next year.... ? navas has been terrible, roberts was great the other night this is exactly the type of gamey e should be playing in. It makes no sense at all

The hate for Navas in here is nothing short of diabolical when you consider him and Sterling have both demonstrated the same strengths and weaknesses in their start to the season.

I expected a strong team after 2 straight defeats but how Navas is able to keep his spot is beyond me.

It's madness, he doesn't deserve it, don't care about injuries, there's an 18 year old lad with way more raw talent than Navas who just needs a chance, sitting twiddling his thumbs. How many managers wouldn't play a player like Roberts if they were in Pellegrini's shoes right now?
