So the player that never hid and tried and failed was the reason we lost but the players who didn't turn up was okay?

Happy with the team. He wouldn't risk aguero if he wasn't fit. Fernando coming in to give Fernandinho a well earned rest whilst giving him minutes after his injury is sensible. Strong back four and a chance to give KDB, Sterling and Navas chance to gel. Toure had already come out today saying he was desperate to play tonight so no real surprises for me.
Ideally a couple of youngsters will get some decent game time and we'll be on the end of a needed win before the weekend.
 
Anything looking to do a bet quite a good one going on SkyBet just put a tenner on it myself .

this place is probably worst than it's ever been at the minute, what the fuck has got into some of you lot? we've just lost two big games, we are wanting to win every trophy we play in this year so play the strongest team possible and let's get back on track. If we play kids and get beat then that's 3 in a row and out of a competition we want to win the very first round. if we lose with a full team then we have no excuses.
 
Strong team. And the right call from pellegrini. 2 losses in a week, imagine if he had played kids and we got beat, he'd be absolutely sluaghtered, and the ones moaning about the lack of youth would be first in the queue. We need a win tonight, get the job done first, then there's potentially a chance for a kid or two. They may have had a poor start to the season but this is still a premier league side we're playing against away from home, the kids aren't good enough to face that kind of opposition yet. There's only Kelechi and Roberts who are anywhere near our team and could perhaps be disappointed not to be starting. And one of those is injured.
