fwiw, noticed Nico O'Reilly in the pre-season training pics yesterday but he's not included on the official tour travelling squad, wonder if he went along anyway

Wonderful talent,can be amazing if he carries on on this rapid trajectory.

Great that he is involved,but probably a season too early for him.Hopefully he and his agent stay patient.....

fwiw, Girona FC will be training at the CFA from 24 to 30 July - scrimmage opportunities?

From the Girona OS ... "During their stay in England, Míchel's men will play two friendlies. The first, on Wednesday, against Sheffield United at the City Football Academy (2pm) and the second, next Saturday against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park at 4pm."

I saw the full Academy squad at Faro airport on Sunday evening. Had a quick chat with one of the coaches while queuing for passport checks - they are training at Quinta do Lago and have a match somewhere (he didn't know where) behind closed doors.
