I was less than an hour away from watching the QPR game in there, when my ticket finally turned up. Fucking buzzing, I was - but I reckon it would have been a good boozer to watch it in. My mate watched it there and had a ball. So I'm fond of the place, had many a good pint in there, but the service is usually wank.Has it fuck

It's a great urban boozer. Nice vibe, never edgy when I've been in. The beers are ok too.I used to work for the GMC (Greater Manchester Council) the Waldorf was my local back then and a proper boozer. It’s changed a lot over the years. 1977 it was

If i was guessing, I'd say it was formerly a Chester' s pub. They had many of the great pubs in Manchester at the time.
