If it meant the league season starting on, say, the first weekend of August and ending on the first Sunday of June then I'd be all for it. Ideally the break would be in January instead of December though.
A better first step would be to get rid of FA Cup replays (seriously, who enjoys them?) and take one or two games out of that ridiculous Christmas period to play either earlier or later in the season. The UEFA Nations League is so new that it hasn't even started yet so that's not going anywhere.
I think the only way to do it is to start the season one week earlier, meaning four league games before the first international break, and finish one week later, at the very end of May.
The League Cup seems to happen at a rate of about one round every month- that's pointless. Start it a few weeks earlier and fit the Semi-finals in before new year's day. Make the final the first game back after the winter break.
