So do we take it that united had just 13 first team players fit for their past two postponed fixtures?
Thought not. Special treatment.

I just don't get it. Not only has there been no indication that they've received special treatment, but there's been absolutely no benefit to them of the last two games being postponed. So do we take it that united had just 13 first team players fit for their past two postponed fixtures?

Reports were that they only had 9 available for Brentford and 7 available for Brighton. So do we take it that united had just 13 first team players fit for their past two postponed fixtures?

Most likely this would create the biggest discrepancy under current regulationsWouldn't some of the issues be that some clubs who have a low rate of vaccination, meaning they will have more players isolating because of the close contact rules. Only having say 2 active case but 6-7 players not vaccinated isolating too.
One thing that i haven't really seen too much discussion about is the after effects of Covid, lets say that there is some truth that the Rags only had 7-9 fit players available last week. Assuming that they are now coming to the end of their isolation they should now be able to field a team that meets the new criteria.
However that doesn't mean they will be strong, I had covid weeks ago and I am nowhere near to being in the same health as I was pre-covid. Some of their players may be weeks of getting back to full fitness and then they need to find a run of form.
