I think they’ll get top 4 but hopefully it will go to the last day of the season

Disagree. Nobody should need motivation in a CL final. Personally think it would work the other way. More pressure to win and get a CL place

That's my point. In case they don't get top 4, they could opt to defend for their life in the final. If they get top4, I think they will be slightly more adventurous in their approach. The difference would show when teams are dead tired at the end. When your battery is full you don't really need extra motivation.
 
We'll, it's the day. The self proclaimed biggest game in the English footballing calendar. Will one side make the shit cup or will the other manage to limp to second and keep the gap to top single digits?

Can Klopp's wounded soldiers avoid a victory that would force them into yet another distracting cup next season, or can Ole's zebras scream loud enough to convince the referee to give them yet another penalty and stay true to the famous "united way" of playing dire football and being bailed out by the officials?

It's Thursday night, it's pointless, and it's live...
