Thought it was a great save at first but replays suggest to me that's a clear pen and he hasn't got anything on it, ball looks to have clipped the fulham defenders heel which causes the change of direction. Have var seen something I missed or have they missed something obvious?

Every club wants to play in the champions league even if some fans couldn't give a shit, probably myself included. It's the extra money, the worldwide exposure, the kudos and the fact that for a team that haven't been in it before it would be exciting. Also the top players want to play in it so you have more chance of attracting them if you qualify.
