Premier League Games 12-18 Jan '23

It just acted out drama for the TV viewers now.
As long as the drama outshines the football the broadcasters are happy
Football on TV is all about controversial decisions, endless replays and "expert" over-analysis, rather than actual football these days. Look on You Tube at old Match of the Day or Big Match to see how much actual (OK, often rubbish) football was shown in those days compared to now.

You need a minimum of 6 commentators/pundits now, does my head in.

The pundits mostly talk about the negative n’all. It’s always about who’s done what wrong and rarely analysis and insight about good tactics and play.

By the 14th March our season could be over.
Thursday is now a big game, bigger than it needed to be.
Win or draw and we’ve got some breathing space for top 4, lose..
My confidence is shot this season.
It’ll be their cup final, again.
Hope we’re fired up for it.
