Premier League Games 13/14/15/18 May '23

Makes me laugh when commentators mention our strength of the squad as the difference ignoring the fact we have one of the smallest squads.
Still one of the strongest squads. If we made a team out of our non-starting squad players and had it join the Premier League, it would probably still finish top 4.

I'd love a Forest win so it would be party time on Sunday.
I, for one, would like them to draw.

If Arsenal win, we'll have the pressure of needing a win to lift the trophy at home on Sunday.

If Forest win, then we win the league off the pitch. We didn't even get to play for it. And we don't even have to turn up on Sunday. That's boring.

If they draw, however, we only need a draw on Sunday. That means that we do have to turn up, which will be good for entertainment (and for Erling-40-goals bets), while still being pretty confident we're going to lift it on Sunday. Perfect!
(Plus it gives Forest an important point to send Everton down)

Will add something. Saka is nowhere near the level needed to win titles. Pressure has well and truly done him the last month.
He was just rated the second best Premier League player of the year by FWA (only beaten by Haaland).

No we've won it on the pitch whatever happens at Forest. We've played 35 games to win it if Arsenal fail to win. I for one have had enough of nerve biting games to win it. Q.P.R, West Ham, Brighton away, Villa. They're nice to look back on after it's done but torture at the time. We'll still go all out for the win. We can relax, celebrate all day and rest players, particular for our last two tough away games before the rags final and hopefully the champions league final.

I can't remember if it was covered at the time in this thread but I do think the commentary below is disgraceful. Brighton go 1-0 up at the Emirates, a chance to get European football for the first time in their 122 year history and barely any emotion. Peter Drury would never.
