Most teams know that if they play out against City they're getting utterly slaughtered. They obviously come to the Etihad knowing it's better to maybe scrape a 0-0 if they're lucky than to get smashed 5-1.

It's ugly but I do understand it. The fact it's frustrating to watch means it works a lot of the time.
