I think it comes from the way the media talk about them with this romanticised bollocks in the same way they talk about Liverpool. Notts Country, Derby and Leicester fans must think it’s utterly nauseating.

West Ham were the second English club to win a European trophy, before United and Liverpool and Forest ever had success in Europe (who the media never fail to bring up their European successes). Yet the media never seem to bring that up about West Ham.

Started to get on my nerves years ago with the media and Forest.

That’s all fair comment, but ‘nothing club‘ is the sort of shit the murderers say about us, which for someone of your knowledge of our club’s history you should be aware is completely false. No club that matters to its supporters and has been going for 150 years should be described in those terms.

Like you always say, success is fleeting - but it shouldn’t be the only metric that matters.

Indeed. Probably a bit of bitterness from me that Forest haven’t themselves brought on with me… it’s the media as usual!
