Premier League Games 14/15/16 December

The danger of VAR highlighted again, if that touch was on Rashford, Mane or Salah they go down and the penalty is 100% being given. Because it’s a Brighton player who was very honest the penalty is not given and the VAR ref absolutely knows there will be no come back whichever way he gives it.

I think that this one is a little less contentious as Atkinson is the VAR and he generally doesn’t give too much. Where it’s wrong is that he’s not refereeing the game so Pawson should have gone to the monitor to see what he thought, not accept what Atkinson thought.

Surprised Potter isn’t getting linked to bigger jobs. Outstanding young manager and got Brighton playing a great style of football.

Its a penalty all day long, on review. I didnt notice on first look - that is why they don’t show it or explain themselves. What would they say ‘yeah it was a foul but he wasn’t fouled *enough* for a penalty”? It’s absurd

It still makes me laugh that the scousers paid the same for Benteke as we paid for Aguero. Great days. Before they hacked our scouting data.

That fucking drum... no **** is even singing along to it now, it’s just being banged fuck out of for the sake of it... someone take the fucking thing off the lad and fuck it off over the stand!

Montoya was too honest for his own good which I like to see but it shouldn’t affect the VAR review. Once again it’s just the opinion of one person who may or may not give two fucks because it’s Brighton but when the Rags and Dippers are involved penalties are almost inevitable once their players have dived at the slightest touch.
