Premier League Games 14/15/16 December

Not corruption, just absolutely wank officiating that VAR didn't overturn despite seeing it was absolutely wank officiating.

Because it doesn't change the standard of refereeing.

yep. Terrible

Refs now have a system in place to have a second look. That’s absolutely perfect.
But still the ref saw that and adamant it’s the correct decision so didn’t bother - will probably justify it like my gooner mates who thought it was a pen - saying Coufal was high over the ball and the follow through.

Yep, refs have another layer of bubble wrap.

If a keeper comes out, clips it with his fingers but empties the player... It's never a penalty so there's zero justification to be fair imo

Broja looks a player, very good finish tonight. Chelsea have some decent players on loan, can see both Broja and Gallagher in their squad next season.

Just seen it again, and now Im not so sure. The defender slides in, barely touches the ball (the ball is still at the attackers feet after the light touch on it by the defender) with the foot he tries to clear it with, then clatters the man and brings him down with the leading foot and the trailing leg....

Its a poor challenge in the sense that he should just clear the ball but totally messes it up big style...

*EDIT.... Moyes said the same about the challenge. Very refreshing to hear an honest opinion from a Manager

That’s a nailed on peno in the Arsenal game. Not sure where the ‘awful decision’ views are coming from. Is there a bit of peno hysteria going on at the moment?

Just noticed spurs have 3 games in hand if Arsenal who are on 29 points spurs on 25 win two of them they go fourth
Spurs have had 4 matches postponed this season. Incredible and are still looking to get tomorrow's match against Leicester postponed.
Orient in the Carabao, one match in Europe, one in the Premier league for Covid along with the Burnley match cancelled because of snow.

If you think about it, this new rise in infections has just started IMHO we wont finish this seasons fixtures it's going to be impossible to fit all of them in when the avalanche of cancellations start.

There’s a lot in the lower stand opposite the main camera view.
Just a reminder to all these fans who think their stadium is packed every week.
Just watching match of the day. Arsenal, Palace and Brighton, empty seats everywhere. Where are the headlines!
