Premier League Games 14/15/16 December

Spurs have had 4 matches postponed this season. Incredible and are still looking to get tomorrow's match against Leicester postponed.
Orient in the Carabao, one match in Europe, one in the Premier league for Covid along with the Burnley match cancelled because of snow.
Orient was last season.

If you think about it, this new rise in infections has just started IMHO we wont finish this seasons fixtures it's going to be impossible to fit all of them in when the avalanche of cancellations start.

It’s also due to massive increase in testing.

There will come a point - and it will happen soon- that we are left to decide ourselves what we consider safe or not.

Covid will start to wane- and it will be treated as any other coronavirus.

Just seen it again, and now Im not so sure. The defender slides in, barely touches the ball (the ball is still at the attackers feet after the light touch on it by the defender) with the foot he tries to clear it with, then clatters the man and brings him down with the leading foot and the trailing leg....

Its a poor challenge in the sense that he should just clear the ball but totally messes it up big style...

*EDIT.... Moyes said the same about the challenge. Very refreshing to hear an honest opinion from a Manager

And there we have it …. People have different opinions - just like officials see things differently … there is a lot of grey areas still in the game and that’s why ultimately, on this occasion, VAR left it to the ref (as some will see a genuine case for the penalty)
Even if he looked at the monitor- I still think he would have gave it.

For all the pros/cons of VAR - it’s ultimately the Refs decision

If we throw in weather and if we get a bad winter then it all adds up, the powers that be will have to be getting their abacus out and get some coefficient working IMHO ;)

They’ll use the same one that denied Manchester City Women the title last season. It’s been tried and tested.

Just watching match of the day. Arsenal, Palace and Brighton, empty seats everywhere. Where are the headlines!
Exactly.
Then the cheeky bastards will turn up at our place and question our support.
We do have empty seats in some games, but so does everyone else.
The scum cup games are the best where the camera never goes above the first tier, even when the ball goes high in the air they just let it go off screen, only to be spoiled later by a corner and you clock all the empty seats in the top tiers : )
