A few weeks of postponements/stadium closures would hurt some of their biggest names bordering on administration. The PL won't want to kill their favourite cash cows.

I can only guess that they are trying to keep the numbers down enough for most people to be able to enjoy Xmas.

I noticed the armchair Rags and media stopped joking about empty seats when their team had a downturn of results under Golum and started piping up again when Ragnick started eeking out wins.

The armchairs never really stop because they only see what the media want to show and the of course media control the buns they throw to them. And of course having a go at us is an unsuccessful attempt to cover their own deficiencies.
A few years ago my son sent me a pic of l think it was Boro fans who knocked United out of a cup completion. Because it was a cup comp the away fans had more that the usual corner. But the main thing was that the big stand to the right was almost completely empty. I am not sure where the main match cameras are at the swamp probably in that gaping empty stand. But the next days the downcast media never said anything about the piss poor attendance and of course the official attendance was doubled or more than the actual crowd.
