Premier League Games 15/16/17 Dec '23

Once again a perfectly good goal disallowed for mm offside, using questionable technique when between frames a player can move 18” and no sure way of saying when a ball was played VAR is anti goals the very thing that we want to see Like yesterday again today taking an eternity to decide makes a farce of it, what are they actually doing in the VAR room? Very few want VAR except the officials because it’s a nice earner and a great retirement plan
Offside was introduced to find players mm offside that is not the spirit of the law
I can understand why it took a long time to decide if the wolves goal was offside. A check on the ball position and the position of the last dedenders foot, both relative to the wolves player was needed. But I find it very difficult to believe it is accurate. Its a flat still picture. The ball and the players move between frames. How fast they move will affect the results. Is the speed measured? There is apparently no tolerance which is nonsense.

In this case , the last defenders foot was a long way from the ground. How was the distance from his foot to the ground measured? Surely that measurement is needed to determine offside?

well this round is horrible so far. all rivals winning we throw away easy win from 2-0 up.

even Spurs only 1 point behind us now.

5 points behind Arsenal and potentially 6 behind Liverpool after this weekend

And we couldn't hold onto a 2 goals lead to Palace who are out of form

Almost surprising that we are only 5/6 points behind those 2 given how out of it we look

4 points behind Villa too
