Abysmal by Man United. This was staggering to watch. Peter Drury mentioned that the 36 shots by Liverpool were the most ever in a match since football stats started to be compiled. This was a training session. Shades of the City United match at the Etihad a month ago.
They're 11 points adrift of top 4 already and Mourinho looks absolutely clueless. United look like dear in headlights. Woefully out of their depths.
U****d were execrable, but the 36 shots was boosted a lot by speculative efforts from distance.

That’s why it’s s fascinating title chase. I welcome it.
I still think we win it. Liverpool have ridden their luck in quite a few games this season. Eventually, results catch up with performances. Outstanding performance today but over the first 17 matches, City have generally performed better than Liverpool have.
Right now, they've grinded out important wins, and it likes as though the title race will be very close. Having said that, I feel that by the end of the season, City will come out on top.

We're not Spurs.Spurs were playing amazing football the season Leicester won the league and were better than them in almost every measurable stat. Not enough to win the league though. Just because we’re better doesn’t mean we’ll win it.
