Premier League Games 15/16 May

I think maybe Ancelloti has lost that aura about him, don't get me wrong he's been there and worn the t-shirt but maybe his methods and his motivational skills have waned slightly as he's got older.
Shame If it has because when he went to Goodison I thought it was a great acquisition for you and after the start he had this year I thought oh hello maybe just maybe.
Next season could be shit or bust for him.
no offence to our Evertonians, but when a guy goes from managing AC/Chelsea/PSG/Real Madrid/Bayern to managing Everton, you have to question whether he's that arsed about it. Fancy signing of James aside which has done very little, there's not much to write home about when you're still relying on Calvert-Lewin and co.

Sometimes football, like life, passes managers by and they become obsolete on their feet as younger, smarter coaches bring forth new thinking rendering the older managers methods obsolete. They need to keep refreshing and reinventing themselves to stay relevant and successful, this is what you constantly see with Pep and that is what makes him the manager he is.

Lack of competition within the squad has been the ultimate downfall for Everton. This season was a massive chance to get into the top four but Everton blew it spectacularly. The only player that impressed me was Ben Godfrey - a great prospect. Intelligent, strong in the air, fantastic positioning. If City didn't have 3 world class CBs, he would be my first choice as a transfer target.

Yes, the scorer was clearly onside but if you're stood in front of the goalie in an offside position you're always going to be on shaky ground. It's not the first time a goal has been chalked off for that. If I'm not mistaken, someone had one chalked off against us not so long ago for the same thing, can't remember which match it was.
Yep, if you're blocking the goslkeepers line of sight in an offside position thst decision would be correct. That said, if it's not off a direct strike at goal then you're dealing with too much of a guessing game. Very similar to awarding Penandes that recent goal because you 'think' that it would have gone in without the influence of another player.

Humans tend to lose their creative mojo as they age. It’s why the Rolling Stones are still bashing out tunes they wrote 50 years ago.

We had one chalked off not long ago, when Sergio jumped out of the way. Different circumstances though. At corners there is quite often attackers deliberately getting in the line of the keeper, never seen anything disallowed for that

I was listening the whining and moaning about WBA playing a “low block” etc 2nd half.
Welcome to the world of CITY, where EVERY team does it.
