I think the referee has made a rod for his own back with the early Ipswich yellows. Although both of Burns' would have been justified.

It's clearly become one of those "subjective" referee calls now, Rodri gets one (probably) for almost everybody else it's last season/old hat/allowed now, unless it's a second yellow and the red gives united/liverpool/arsenal an advantage

I can only assume Refs have been instructed to play for the Tele rather than stick the laws of the game with some of his decisions today.

People just love to vent about referees. 90% of the posts on here today are made suggesting the ref has made the wrong call.

It’s part of life of being a football fan. It’s always the ref’s fault.
