Premier League Games 16/17/18 Sept 23

The ref is the star of the show these days.
He was smirking as he disallowed that because he knew he would get a massive cheer from the majority of the crowd
Exactly this. Atwell did it last season in that infamous game at the rags, he knew he had the power in his hands to make 70,000 people cheer so gleefully took his chance.

You should contact Howard Webb he’s got a job for you
Just seen those two further replays and every one I see makes it more obvious that it was handball.

He sees the defender running towards him as the ball is bouncing, he leaned his body closer to the ball and moves his arm towards the ball so the defender can’t get it.

If that was a United player nobody would disagree. Because it’s one of Vinny’s players everyone thinks it’s wrong.

That’s the best throw-in I’ve ever seen. Like one of Ward-Prouse’s crosses.

All about opinions as the ball is dropping over that shoulder and I think he’s moving his arm out of the way or it’s just a natural running action. Either way, it’s hardly clear and an obvious………unless you’re the VAR screaming deliberate handball in his ear. No problem with ref going to have a look but in the PL version of VAR that’s not to support the ref make a better decision….it’s code for change your decision. It’s absolutely flawed the lot of it and needs starting again from scratch
