Premier League Games 16/17/18 Sept 23

This won't be a popular thing to say, but i'll say it anyway - VAR has been making more and more good and brave decisions lately. They also seem more comfortable with calling the ref to the monitor and have him affirm his initial decision. Long may it continue.
Let's waste even .more time for something they should get right In first place

Yes I agree. You wonder why they do it. They are actually a good side and there is no need to fall over every couple of minutes. If they actually carried on playing surely it would benefit them more. The more attention is paid to their antics I would imagine the less they will get any benefit.
Your comment made me wonder if there's any statistics on how many times a team have been given an advantage for keeping the ball after a foul. I imagine we'd be pretty high on that statistic

following the discussion now they seem to be saying the defender’s deflection is not a deliberate action, but he’s certainly trying to touch the ball. is the deliberate about the direction? because the arsenal player also doesnt deliberately play the ball that way either

reminds me of erikksens non-deliberate touch in the city spurs 4-3 game when sterling was given offside.
I think his deliberate attempt to play the ball ends the moment Gabriel(?) plays the ball instead. After that it ends up as a deflected/blocked attempt.
