I would re-watch the incident. It is was fairly clear at the time he was feigning being hit in the head. There is a clear difference between a regretful response and what he did.

And even that incident aside, the feigning of head injuries has gotten out of hand. It is now more common for play being stopped for a false head injury than a real one.

And I was one of the vocal proponents for the strengthening of the concussion protocol and protection of player’s safety. However, I recognise now it is being manipulated by players/teams for advantage that is not in keeping with the spirit of the game or the protocol.
