I don't think that needs to be said or argued.
He wanted to leave one on the keeper, he had no chance of winning the ball despite what he said post match. Problem is that when you do it to someone in the air you run the risk of opposing player landing awkwardly which is what happened.

Especially when you can't win the ball, like Maupay, so you do it solely to be a cúnt.
I have heard on many occasions this week ex footballers as pundits saying "good foul" so it happens , it is part of football. The keeper was just unlucky. The Arsenal response was part of their problem, looking for excuses.
A big job for Aterta, a bigger clear out than Woolworths needed.

One of the very few times I've agreed completely with Ferdinand and Crouch expressed the attitude of all non-involved professionals. It was a minor incident with massive unintended consequences. Mende was out for a season (almost) because of an accident and Laporte did himself in the process of committing a foul; Leno landed badly to stay in his area and that landing was as much the cause of the injury as anything.

And this is why contact with a keeper in the 6 years box when he is in the air is an automatic foul. He is vulnerable with arms in the air. Commentators and pundits believe they are fair game.
