This is exactly how they get most of their wins, sit back soak up lots of pressure then hit on the break.
The games where united do have lots of possession they tend not to win.
Thing is hoof ball and less possession works against teams like Luton we have 75/80% play that makes them defend deep and they just get the occasional long ball down the line or a fast beak in the transition!

did a quick check
Arse scored 5 from 6 on target shots, or 5 goals from 15 shots total.
Pool scored 4 from 8 on target shots and 4 goals from total 15 shots.
rags up 2 up from two chances basically in 7 mins.
City scoring only one from 5 on target shots, from total of 32 shots vs Chelsea.
how others so high with conversion rate and us often needing to work out much more chances to be just as clinical or even less clinical like this round.
we need to get down to the basics and practice finishing at trainings until Haaland, Foden, KDB, Alvarez etc has their nose bleeding. put all three keepers in goal and until they concede a 1000 goals per session nobody can go home.

Come on mate. We don't get goals gifted like United today and Nunez yesterday. Teams work a lot harder against us. That's a fact.
Look at Brentford yesterday to the one we faced. And just watch Luton in the FA Cup tie when we face them. They will not be as open as this. We will work for EVERY goal.
