It's genuinely absurd. It's not like it's London with multiple teams. He may well support Altincham but there's surely one of City or United he prefers. And even on the off chance he has no affiliation with either United or City he'll be surrounded by people that do. There's just no way there isn't a conflict of interest.
He's a rag from a family of rags who used to take him to the Swamp as a kid. He "supports" Altrincham so that he can be affiliated to the Cheshire FA, which in turn leaves him free to referee those teams who fall within the old jurisdiction of the Lancashire FA. It is an ongoing disgrace that he is allowed to referee the rags. That the Premier League permits it though is not a surprise........

Not really. He'll score goals, of course he will, he's their main striker in a Mourinho team. All Mourinho teams have a striker that bangs them in because of their crappy but effective "get to the line and cross it" game plan, but that's not to say he isn't past it. A younger striker would get more and make more of an impact. I'm happy with him being their best striker.
