Lol, that tells you all you need to know really, it's 8.5 years and 4 jobs since he coached Materazzi. As for structure, he fought against having a director of football at multiple clubs, including the rags. That's sort of what he said. " Did I fight with Matic? Ask Matic. Mattarazi. I did not fight with materazzi. I can sit here for one hour and tell you players I do not fight with."
Then went on about how Guardiola and Klopp "they give them luxuries that I don't have. By this I don't mean a player. I don't talk about what players I have. I talk about structure of the club. They have structure. In the next club I sit down with (and I have now 3 offers already) I will not talk about which player they have. This and that . I will talk them about structure."
It was tough to listen to without cringing.
I love him, for the mess he's left behind at the rags. He's a serious piece of work though.Surely Mourinho will acknowledge the genius appointment and achievements of OGS ?
Or would if he didn't talk about other managers .
How can you not love him really ?
3 offers hmmm probably Huddersfield, stoke and PSG ..That's sort of what he said. " Did I fight with Matic? Ask Matic. Mattarazi. I did not fight with materazzi. I can sit here for one hour and tell you players I do not fight with."

To be fair, this does sound like a fairly accurate critique of Woodward...
Haven't really watched Pedro that much over the last couple of seasons but was aware he'd gone downhill, seems to have lost his pace which would explain it.Haha, did anyone watch that sequence just now where Alonso was running with the ball and Pedro was sprinting right in line with him?
Alonso, with the ball, overtook him in a couple of strides.
I know, mate, it was just a joke about Woodward being spineless (no structure). But it's a deflection. Klopp and Guardiola are better managers. It's as simple as they. A board's job is to give you players. They don't dictate tactics.
OSG is dealing with the same incompetent board as Mourinho did, yet he's getting more out of his players.
To me, it sounded like a desperate attempt to shift the narrative and explain why Klopp and Guardiola are doing better. Not because of their acumen but because of their environment.
