Levy, for all his faults, is an astute businessman... he’s still counting the pesatas
Dross, I’ll watch any level of football but Christ almighty, that was a slogthat was a poor advert for the premier league..two supposedly top teams who were nearly as bad as each other.
Supposedly "top teams" don't guarantee top games. Remember the league game between Trafford's finest and the greatest PL champions ever ever ever?that was a poor advert for the premier league..two supposedly top teams who were nearly as bad as each other.
tbf our game against the rags was shite too.Supposedly "top teams" don't guarantee top games. Remember the league game between Trafford's finest and the greatest PL champions ever ever ever?
Risk and reward on the stadium front, however, his net spend in terms of acquisitions and sales is superb.. I get the point but the model dictated the statement of purpose.. it may well fail but it was a catch 22I don't think he's half the business man he and the press like to portray.
He sacked Pochettino because he'd dreamt of appointing Mourinho since he took over the club and Mourinho was the dogs bollocks.
Also he spunked 1.1Billion on a stadium he was offered a guaranteed price of 800m on, which he turned down because he thought he could deliver under budget. Several hundred million of that was to secure a £5m a year NFL deal which is questionable on its own, but on top of that it's unlikely to last the distance because everyone knows Shahid Khan is dead set on buying Wembley for the Carolina Panthers and the FA are not going to be able to foot the £200m refurbishment/upkeep bill on the stadium due in a few years.
True.tbf our game against the rags was shite too.
