Premier League Games 20/21/22 August '22

GIGO!!

“We take only the first VAR overturn in each game, because the calculation considers that any subsequent VAR incident wouldn't have happened because the whole direction of the game has been altered.”

So, if you had what you thought was a “clear & obvious” on the SECOND BIG CALL OF THE GAME it gets ignored!

So, garbage in garbage out!
It wouldnt change the game no?? Agree not perfect but if you think the same outcome happens that’s as silly an assumption

Not many contentious decisions amongst that list. Perhaps the first one where we did get away with it but on the other hand we lost the opening fixture to Spurs where Japhet Tanganga should of been red carded.

Eh??? They all went against us originally, thats the whole point. No VAR and were shafted

You might not think they were contentious but unfortunately for us you’re not making the decisions.

They were still odd occasions where the VAR officials weren't dozing off. I would be the first to admit if we did get a favourable decision (a similar penalty we had got in the Champions League a few seasons back). The Liverpool game is the acid test

We dont win the league without VAR. Its pretty simple to grasp. Be careful what u wish for
But in its current state it is still open to manipulation. If the rags are in with a shout of winning the league and the derby fixture is part of the run in I wouldn't be convinced it would be that impartial. Or Liverpool as well.

Name all the incidents that were manipulated against us last season!! Ive named all which went for us, lets see if you can back up your comments with facts or is it hyperbole??

Last time the rags were goin for the league and we played them in a crunch fixture and needed to win they didn't disallow Kompany’s header….. We have done alright out of VAR since it came in, much better than the scandalous days of Ref’s taking the piss with no chance of recourse….

Come on!
YOU know it was offside.
I know it was offside.
I'm pretty certain almost everybody at least "thinks" that it was offside.
Only reason it wasn't disallowed was fear of negative crowd reaction after they'd all just celebrated the "goal", pure and simple match/situation management from PIGMOL.
You could see that was off side with the naked eye using the lines on rhe pitch, whatever they are called.

VAR didn't exist at the time but if it did they would still find an excuse to have a closer look at it.
