No, it was Toney moving the Refs foam and the ball about a metre to his right, thus negating the wall set by the keeper!

And, coupled by the basketball picks and blocks employed by Arsenal for their first two goals from corners, it makes me wonder WTF the refs and VAR are watching for these dead balls? Are they the signal for a coffee break?

All 3 goals are from CHEATING, but being called genius dead ball coaching by some **** on the Arsenal bench and Toney being opportunistic to see the “bad wall.”

Super slo-mo cameras everywhere, so it’s not as if you can get away with it over time, but no-one seems to care. Even on US TV, where they replayed and highlighted Toney’s CHEATING, they called it a “gem of a free kick” as they summed up the first half!

Finally! Pundit (Robbie Mustoe) called it CHEATING on the HT report, while ex-Wimbledon tosser (Robbie Earle) says it’s just “dark arts.”

Game is gone when a blind eye is turned to obvious cheating.

I have this irrational dislike of Brentford. I hope they go down. Not because City lost to them twice last season, I've thought so for years. Nothing club and not much of a place either, as far as I'm concerned John Betjeman could have written "Come atom bombs and fall on Brentford" (instead of Slough) if only it rhymed and scanned.

Exactly! While the other players make the ref put down a foam line for their attacking wall to keep it the requisite 1m from the defensive wall.

One of the Brentford players is whispering to Toney right before he goes over to the attacking wall to get the foam line!
