Also this “It’s down to the VAR but it’s generally just the attacking phase prior to the goal being scored." sounds less definitive than “immediately” so they should really clear it up.
It’s certainly open to corruption but so was a two lino’s And a ref. Anything with subjectivity always will be.That's why I commented on it at the time, it just seemed that the review went too far back. If it is the subjective view of the VAR that decides, then it's just more proof that VAR is open to corruption.
