Premier League Games 20/21/22 Sept

Klopp has just proved my point in his interview! He has to mention us and say we haven't had these easy games yet. Erm Norwich and Newcastle at home, Southampton away?

Lucky fuckers, second time this season they have been hanging on for dear life. It's obviously gonna be out of us and them but I don't think they look as good as last season. They have a crazy schedule around Xmas so if they were tiring in the last 20 mins today they will hopefully be out on their feet by then

Agree, they still have a great defense but doesn't look quite as solid as last season. But for fuck sakes, more teams has to be aware of their 'easy' tactics by now. Look at the way their fullbacks just keep bombing longballs to Salah and Mané. They play sh*t, no finess, with three boxers in the middle of the pitch instead of footballers. They play more rugby than football. Hate them.

That's not what he meant at all. He was referring to the fact that so far Liverpool hasn't really hit it out of the park. Liverpool has had to really over perform to get results. They still have to improve to get to the level of city. That's how I understood it, at least.

Great result for the dippers today but fuck me they were unconvincing as fuck.

The problem as I see it is the rest of the league are nowhere near as good as us and them. There are hardly any games where you think ‘they won’t have enough here’.

So imo it’s going to come down to 2 factors:

1. The head to heads

2. Whoever drops the least ‘silly’ points.

We’ve already dropped 5 silly points.

I think both teams will get similar points totals to last season.

Therefore our margin for error is pretty slim.

Bring it on.

Their squad isn't as deep as ours and at some point this season they will pick up some key injuries to vD or one of their strikers. Just when the games are coming thick and fast in winter. And when they're fading, we'll have Laporte and Sané to come back.

If vD and their forwards manage two seasons in a row playing every game without injury they're on performance enhancing drugs.

I took encouragement watching that match. They don't pass much and Chelsea isolated the front three in the second half and deserved to in the game comfortably

Saw the last 15 minutes or so and Chelsea dominated, unlucky not to equalize really.

The right back is crap at defence and had to injure Sane to stop him in the Charity Shield. Pass round the centre backs and you are in as their midfield is ordinary.

That’s all assumptions. Laporte and Sane are a long way from coming back, anything can happen until then. We may get some more injuries and they might avoid getting any.
