If the ref deems it deliberate, they’d call it on the field. He’s not meant to punch it like that.

Unless the handball was committed by the scorer, the goal stands in the premier league.

Well, unless the handball is punishable in the same sense as a normal foul. I won't go into discussion if this situation is indeed that.

Game is a joke allowing that handball to be deemed accidental and that "goal" to stand.

Not deliberate? Wtf the angle behind the goal shows he punches it up into the air. Complete farce. Switched it off I can’t be arsed with it.

Feel like the distinction is getting blurred. It’s not like the refs would get better at interpreting rules if there was no var. Wonder if the ref would’ve ruled that out without any var…
