Doesn’t matter. He moves his hand toward the net. He knows where the net is if he’s blind.
They look like they just jolt on impact to me, there’s no way he can react in time and you definitely cannot be sure he meant it.
 
There’s no way he can see that coming, it’s come through people and his hands are trying to get out of the way, he’s got his eyes shut.
But apart from that, he’s a part time volleyball player…

It‘s not deliberate and therefore the goal should stand with the rules how they currently are.

Basically saying a deliberate action is the only question and based on the responses to it (even in this thread), I'm not sure VAR could call it clear and obvious.

They usually only call it when a player has stuck his arms out away from his body.
